Olympic diving bronze medallists Anabelle Smith and Maddison Keeney have held off a determined challenge from Glasgow 2014 teammates Esther Qin and Georgia Sheehan to win gold in the 3-metre synchro at the Australian Open and World Championship selection trials at the Sydney Aquatic Centre.

Divers Ready To Compete For World Championship Places

Australia’s best divers will be in action at the Sydney Aquatic Centre at Homebush as they compete for places on the national team for this year’s World Aquatics Championships in Budapest. Leading the charge will be Rio Olympic 3-metre synchro bronze medallists, Anabelle Smith and Maddison Keeney, and Olympic and Commonwealth Games veteran, Melissa Wu.

The Queen’s Baton Relay is coming and you can be a part of its journey to the start of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. 3,800 batonbearers are needed to carry the Baton across Australia. The first thing you need to do to be a Batonbearer is to be nominated for the role by someone else!

Rio Olympians Back in International Action This Weekend

Olympic synchro bronze medallists Maddison Keeney and Anabelle Smith will head Australia’s charge at the opening FINA World Series diving event for 2017 in Beijing this weekend. Keeney and Smith, who snatched bronze with a dramatic final dive in the 3-metre synchro in Rio, will be part of a five-strong Australian team competing in China.
