14 Australian youth athletes have completed competition at the TYR Junior America Cup. Held in Mission Viejo, California the competition ran from May 24 - 27th with members from the Junior National Squad attending. 

Impressively the team achieved nine podium finishes at the competition including 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 3 bronze. 

Deanna Drake started the gold rush on day 1 of the competition taking out the Girls B 3-Metre. Maggie Grey soon joined her teammate taking home the gold in the Girls B Platform, and Kayla Davies partnered with Grey to secure another gold in the Girls A/B Platform Synchro. 

Alexandria Sando and Lucy Dovison competed for the first time as a 3-Metre Synchro pairing, taking home the silver medal. It was a similar result in the Girls A Platform with Ruby Drogemuller finishing on the podium in second place. 

Benjamin Wilson and Lachlan Abbott continued to follow suit, securing second place in the Boys A/B 3-Meter Synchro following Ben’s success in the Boys A 1-Metre and Boys A 3-Metre taking home bronze. Deanna Drake also added to her individual haul placing third with the Girls B 1-Metre event.
