PhD/Physiotherapist Clinician Opportunity

The NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) and the University of Canberra Research Institute for Sport and Exercise (UCRISE) are looking for a candidate to undertake a dual PhD/Physiotherapy Clinician program titled “Performance Health in Australian Diving Athletes: Optimising the health and performance progression of athletes in the pathway” in collaboration with Diving Australia (DA) and the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS).
NSWIS contributes to elite athletes’ performance at a national and international level by providing evidence-based and innovative sports science/sport medicine support to Australian high-performance athletes. UCRISE is a research and innovation institute, which brings together staff from a wide variety of academic disciplines based in the University of Canberra’s faculties and research centres around the central uniting theme of sport and exercise. UCRISE actively seeks to support the University’s aspiration to be regarded as Australia’s leading university for sport education and research.
