Published Thu 11 Nov 2021

Australian diving icon Ludi Wiggins was appointed to the Diving Australia Board at the recent Annual General Meeting.

Ludi brings with her a wealth of experience in the sport where she is one of only three divers to represent Australia at four Olympic Games. At the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Ludi, with partner Rebecca Manuel, broke Australia’s 76-year medal drought in diving with a bronze in the Women’s 10-Metre Synchro.

Ludi went on to secure a second Olympic medal in 2004, in addition to three Commonwealth Games gold medals, and six FINA World Championships and World Cup Medals.

Outside the pool Ludi has served on the Australian Olympic Committee Athletes’ Commission and the Diving Victoria Board of Directors. Ludi also offers her time as a member of the Diving Australia Mentor Program and the Diving Australia Alumni Network.

In a professional capacity, Ludi functions as the APAC Head of Marketing & Communications for Gentrack Ltd.

Congratulations Ludi and welcome aboard.
