Georgia Sheehan wins the Australian Diving Award for Endeavour

After a 2 stage process, involving suggestions submitted by members and supporters of Diving, followed by a shortlist that members and supporters could vote on, the new name for the Major Athlete Award has been chosen.
The winning submission was made by Angela Meaney and the award will now be known as:
The Australian Diving Award for Endeavour
At the Diving Australia Annual Awards last weekend, the 2018 winner was announced as Georgia Sheehan - congratulations Georgia!
All of the winners from the 2019 Age Championships and the 2018 Elite Junior Championships were acknowledged at the Awards and the Open National Awards were also announced.
Domonic Bedggood and Esther Qin were the Male and Female Divers of the Year respectively (based on the points accumulation system) and Volunteer Excellence Awards were presented to to Wendy Pullar, Eric Brooker and John Marshall.
