Diving Australia Annual Awards

The re-launched Diving Australia Annual Awards (#DAAA) took place following the conclusion of the Australian Open Championships.
The concept is to bring together all aspects of the sport and we so pleased to be able to welcome our Age Award Winners to join with our Elite Junior and Open Award Winners.
We launched a new award - the Excellence in Volunteering Award - which we will award up to three annually to exceptional volunteers. The inaugural recipients were:
Ross Burden
Paul Beech
Stuart Graymore
We announced the 2 Elite Divers of the Year for 2017.
Maddison Keeney
Domonic Bedggood
We also announced that we will be renaming the pinnacle Athlete Award and will be running a competition over the next 12 months to rename that award.
For 2017, the Australian Diving Sportsperson of the Year was Taneka Kovchenko.
