The Australian diving team made a stunning return to the international stage at the FINA Diving Grand Prix in Calgary, Canada over the weekend.

The 15-strong team flew the Australian flag with pride, with the event proving a great preparation for the upcoming 2022 FINA World Championships in Budapest and Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

In their first international competition as a pair, veteran Melissa Wu and 14-year-old Charli Petrov teamed up to win gold in the Women’s Open Platform Synchro Finals.

Fellow Aussies Nikita Hains and Emily Boyd finished in third place, behind Canada’s Nike Agunbiade and Janie Boyle in second.
