Australian Elite Junior Championships Update

Diving Australia and the State Associations are providing an update to the information regarding Elite Juniors Opportunities sent out on 15 September.
Firstly, thank you to everyone who was involved in the Virtual Camp and the Stay At Home Dryland Competition – these wonderful initiatives were a great success and would not have been so without athletes and coaches supporting the initiatives, and the excellent work put in by those that organised them. Thank you!
Secondly, whilst it seems that borders are starting to open and travel will be less restricted (for vaccinated people at least) there has still been a significant impact on some States’ ability to select a State Team. Accordingly, the time frame for selecting a State Team has been extended to the end of November. We are aware that some States have selected their team and some will shortly, but for others, this extra time is necessary due to pool closures etc. We thank you for your understanding.
States will then have 1 week (6 December) to submit their videos so that the Elite Junior Virtual Championships can be judged, edited and posted online ahead of Christmas.
