8 - Maddison Keeney

One day less to go so let's say hi to Maddison Keeney!
Maddi is competing in 2 events in in Rio and is first out of the blocks with synchro partner Anabelle Smith.
She then has a few days off before the 3m individual gets underway. Maddi's first taste of a major multi-sport event was the 2014 Commonwealth Games where she picked up a silver and a bronze.
Unfortunately Maddi was not able to be a part of the photo shoot which is now rotating on our homepage as she was finalising her preparation at a training camp in China. Hopefully this camp gives her a little boost.
Fun fact about Maddi - at one stage she managed to convince the Diving Australia CEO to give her a driving lesson. She still doesn't have her drivers licence...
Rio will be Maddi's first Olympics and we know Australia will get behind her!
