6 - Grant Nel

Grant Nel is definitely the "dad" of the Australian Diving Team, having competed at 5 World Championships, 4 World Cups and 2 Commonwealth Games. He is the holder of 3 Commonwealth Games Medals.
He was not at his best in 2012 due to injury and unfortunately missed the Olympic Team then - but he has come back with a vengeance in 2016 and we hazard a guess that no one is going to enjoy this Olympics more than Grant!
Fun fact about Grant - we don't think anyone has cooler dogs than he does - Takeo and Akita, a husky and a Rottweiler respectively!
Rio is his Olympic debut and we know he wil make it count!
