Us Australian's like to think of ourselves as a welcoming bunch - and so it is with Kevin Chavez.
Having permanently arrived in Australia a little under 2 years ago, he has diligently applied himself to his training, his efforts to become an Australian and adopting the Australian way of life. He has been successful at all 3!
Fun fact about Kevin - His full name his Kevin Alejandro Chavez Banda. So yes, his real name is Kevin - perfect for Australia!
This will be his Olympic debut and we think he might just be quite the surprise packet!!
