2024 Australian Diving Championships on 9Now

The 2024 Australian Diving Championships incorporating Nomination Trials will be broadcast exclusive, live and free from June 6-9 on 9Now. 

Australia’s leading divers will be out to impress at the South Australia Aquatic and Leisure Centre ahead of final team nominations for the Australian Olympic Team. 

Some of the names looking to qualify for Paris 2024 include four time Olympian Melissa Wu, World Champion Cassiel Rousseau and Tokyo Olympians Sam Fricker and Shixin Li

While already named on the Australian team for the synchronised 3m, Commonwealth Games gold medalist and Olympic medalist Maddison Keeney will be out to secure a second spot on the team in the 3m individual. 

With just 50 days to go until the Olympic Games Paris 2024, Diving Australia CEO Alex Newton said she is thrilled to have the 9Nework, the official Olympic broadcaster, on board to showcase the athlete’s journey to the Olympic Games. 

“We are thrilled that all Australians will have the opportunity to watch the Australian Diving Championships live and free on 9Now. 

“This is the final step our athletes will take as they look to qualify for the Australian Olympic Team for Paris 2024.

“To have the support of Nine to showcase our sport and athletes to fans across the country in the build up to the Olympic Games, is a great opportunity and we thank them for their commitment in providing Olympic sports with a great platform,” she said. 

Hamish Turner, Director 9Now and Programming, said: “The trials will be the culmination of years of training as our Aussie athletes reach their final hurdle before embarking on their Olympics journey.

“Our streaming offering for Paris 2024 will encompass all sports and it’s important to us that we show the complete journey for Aussie athletes to viewers. We can’t wait for our Aussie Divers to begin and finish their quests for gold medal glory all here on 9Now.”

The 2024 Diving Australia Olympic Trials incorporating Open Nationals will be held at the South Australia Aquatic and Leisure Centre from Thursday June 6 to Sunday June 9.
