2024 Australian Open Championships incorporating Nomination Trials Results live blog

Australia’s Olympic hopefuls in diving are in Adelaide to contest the 2024 Australian Open Championships incorporating Nomination Trials where athletes will aim to secure their ticket to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Day 2

Action on Day 2 of the 2024 Australian Open Championships incorporating Nomination Trials was all about the Synchro events!

In the Women's 10-Metre Platform Synchro Queensland's Maggie Grey and New South Wales' Kayla Davies created a strong partnership scoring 275.58. 

Deanna Drake (NSW) and Keira Wang (VIC) formed a formidable pair to finish first on the podium in the Women's 3-Metre Springboard Synchro event. Followed closely behind were Alexandria Sando (SA) and Lucy Dovison (VIC) in second place, with WA's Jasmine Wallcroft and Ruby Rose Johnstone placing third. 

The Men's 3-Metre Springboard Synchro saw  Benjamin Wilson (VIC) and Luis Fazzalari (SA) take home the title of Champions, with new Queensland pairing of Archie Forsyth and James Wood placing second. New Zealand's Liam Stone and Frazer Taverner were invited to take part in the competition as guests.

Day 1 

Day 1 of the 2024 Australian Open Championships incorporating Nomination Trials kicked off with both the Men's and Women's 1-Metre Springboard event. 

Victoria's Hudson Skinner was crowned the Australian Open Champion in the Men's 1-Metre Springboard ahead of Lachlan Abbott (NSW) and Samuel Will (SA). New Zealand's Liam Stone and Frazer Taverner were invited to take part in the competition as guests. 

Joining her Victorian teammate, Natalie Phan took home first place in the Women's 1-Metre Springboard. Rounding out the podium was Kiarra Milligan (QLD) and Ellyarn Granland (WA).
