US based James Connor will be a leader amongst our team as a second time Olympian. As a 17 year old, he made his debut in London and 4 years later he heads to Rio with additional World Championship and World Cup experience.
James has been training at and attending Indiana University for the last 2 years. US National Coach Drew Johansen speaks highly of James - partly because he became the first diver in over 25 years to finish in the top 4 on all three boards at the NCAA Champs - but also because he is a good bloke!
Fun fact about James: James' mother works at Waverly Gymnastics Centre - one of Australia's largest gymnastics centres, and the training location for Larrissa Miller - who is a gymnast on the Rio Olympic Team!
