The Selection Trials for the 2020 FINA Diving World Cup will be held in conjunction with the DNSW State Championships at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic, Sydney Olympic Park, 6 - 9 February 2020.

Training Days:

  • Tuesday, 4 February
  • Wednesday, 5 February

Competition Days:

  • Thursday, 6 February
  • Friday, 7 February
  • Saturday, 8 February
  • Sunday, 9 February

Venue:

  • Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre (SOPAC), Sydney Olympic Park, NSW

Athlete & Coach Registration:

  • All Athletes & all Coaches are required to log-in and register via the Diving Australia website.

Team Management & Support Staff:

  • Please notify Diving Australia (prior to entry cut-off) of any team managers or support staff that will require accreditation during the event.

Competition Entry Fees:

  • Coaches Registration: Free (still need to register online)
  • Athlete Registration: $110
  • Individual Events: $60 per event
  • Synchronised Events: $30pp ($60 per team)
  • Late entry fee: $30

Entry Deadline:

  • Wednesday, 22 January 2020
  • A late fee of $30 will be charged if entering after the entry deadline
  • Entries are online only via the Diving Australia website
  • Divers wishing to add an event to an existing registration must contact Diving Australia to process this to ensure they don’t pay the registration fee again. If this is done after the entry deadline a late fee of $30 will be included

Refund Policy:

  • Refunds for athletes withdrawing will only be considered upon submission of a medical certificate.

World Cup Selection Eligibility:

  • Only current DA National Squad members will be eligible to be selected for the World Cup Team.

NSW State Championships:

  • The highest placed NSW competitor at the conclusion of the final for each event will be named the NSW State Champion.

Technical Officials & Event Volunteers:

Diving Australia greatly appreciates the time and effort all our valuable volunteers give to make our events a success. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Technical officials must be Level 5 or 6 to officiate. Level 4 can shadow judge.
  • All technical officials & volunteers are required to be a financial member of Diving Australia.
  • Members wishing to officiate or volunteer are asked to please fill out the relevant on-line availability forms
  • An official event polo & refreshments will be provided.
  • Navy bottoms (pants, shorts or skirt) & predominantly white closed shoes are to worn whilst officiating or volunteering.
