FINA World Junior Diving Championships are held every two years, bringing together young prospects from the strongest nations in the sport to compete at world level.
The six-day competition is divided into two age groups (A and B). Group A is for divers from 16 to 18 and Group B for divers from 14 to 15 years old. There are 14 events on the programme: 1m springboard, 3m springboard and 10m platform for A and B as well as a 3m springboard synchro event mixing A & B.
Firstly held in 1977, the event welcomes about 200 divers from 30 countries at each edition.
