Due to ongoing border closures, an in person Australian Elite Junior Championships is not feasible. As such, each State Diving Association has selected a team of athletes to compete in the 2021 Australian Elite Junior Virtual Championships. Each State Diving Association has been allowed to nominate one diver per event.
Although only one athlete will represent each state in the final Australian Elite Junior Virtual Championships, all athletes have had the opportunity to be selected to the state team. Whilst this is not ideal, given the unique circumstances, it will afford all Australian elite junior divers the opportunity to be crowned as the Australian Elite Junior Champion.
