Child Safety - Mentor Program
Diving Australia is committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people within our sport. Diving is a sport involving children and young people between the ages of 5 and 18 years. We take seriously our responsibility to deliver a sporting environment and programs that are caring, nurturing and safe. All participants involved in Diving Australia’s Mentoring Program will be required to:
- Complete the Diving Australia Child Safe Education training.
- Sign the Child Safe Commitment Statement and return to childsafesport@diving.org.au
- Report any concerns for the safety or welfare of a child contact Manager, Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement/Child Safe Sport
Participants will also be required to provide:
- A relevant and current state Working with Children Check (WWCC). Please note state WWCC’s are not valid across state.
