Coaching
Please note: Diving Australia has begun a full review and redevelopment of it's coaching framework, accreditation system and education material. The main portion of this process will be broken down into incremental phases and take place between 2024 - 2025, with further work at the higher accreditation levels taking place beyond 2025. During this period, coaching courses will continue to run in their current format, until such time that they are replaced by an updated version.
Jan - Dec 2024: System review and redevelopment of the FUNdamentals and Level 1 Coaching Course

Diving Australia is responsible for the education, development, and accreditation of springboard and platform diving coaches within the country. All accredited coaches who are registered members of Diving Australia and their state diving association, must complete Diving Australia child safe education, and maintain current first aid and CPR accreditation. Diving Australia coaches are bound by the Diving Australia Member Protection Policy (see Rules and Policy) and the Coach’s Code of Ethics Agreement. Breaches of safety or child protection protocols will be investigated and could lead to deregistration of accreditation. It is the responsibility of coaches to ensure that safe coaching practices at all times.
