NextGEN AUSComGames Squad 2015 Diving Australia is pleased to announce the members of the NextGEN AUSComGames Squad for 2015. This Squad is a new initiative of the Australian Commonwealth Games Association and is designed to assist those junior athletes who have the potential to be selected in future Australian Commonwealth Games teams in 2018 or 2022.

KEENEY LEAVES IT LATE TO WIN SPRINGBOARD GOLD Perth teenager Maddison Keeney left it to her final dive to snatch gold in the womenâ€™s 1-metre springboard final at the Australian Open Diving Championships in Brisbane. The Commonwealth Games silver medalist overtook 3-metre specialist Esther Qin to finish with 291.15 points, with Qin on 286.95 and Queensland 15-year-old, Georgia Sheehan, third on 266.35.

COMMONWEALTH DIVERS OF THE FUTURE GET CHANCE TO SHINE Seven of Australiaâ€™s most promising divers have headed to Germany this week to compete in one of the worldâ€™s most prestigious youth diving competitions. The trip to the Dresden International Youth Diving Competition has been partly funded by the generous support of the NextGEN AUSComGames Squad program, which aims to give promising Commonwealth Games athletes of the future valuable international experience.
