New Anti-Doping Policy for Diving Australia

The Diving Australia anti-doping policy is the Australian National Anti-Doping Policy, effective from 1 January 2021 and found on the below link to the Sport Integrity Australia website. All members, participants and non-participants in the sport of Diving are bound by these rules.

Barbara Donnet

With great sadness, Diving Australia mourns the passing of Life Member, Barbara Donnet. Barbara, and indeed the Donnet family, are synonymous with Diving in Australia. An Olympian (1956), and two time Commonwealth Games medallist, including Gold on 10m in 1954, Barbara leaves an amazing legacy in our sport.

2020 ACAS Program - Grant Applications NOW OPEN!

Diving Australia is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2020 ACAS (Athlete Committee Athlete Support) Program. The ACAS Program provides grants to existing or retired high performance athletes to assist them in their endeavours away from the pool. That might be to defray the costs of study, or to assist in setting up a new business.

COVID-19 UPDATE 27 May

It has been a little while since we have updated you all and I hope you will forgive me for that. I (and the Board) have been keeping in regular touch with David Bell and he has been working collaboratively with the State Association CEOâ€™s on Return to Play Guidelines for diving. The Board has approved these Guidelines and as mentioned below, they are being used to try to get pools opened around Australia for diving.

DA Statement

With the official announcement from the IOC President and the Prime Minister of Japan overnight, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games have been â€œrescheduled to a date beyond 2020, but not later than (northern) summer 2021â€. Diving Australia strongly supports this decision.
